    Hi Katie!

I’m so happy to be here! Thank you for creating such a wonderful space for us embroidery lovers.

My name is Megan Norman, and I’ve been doing machine embroidery as a hobby for about five years now. It all started when my granddaughter was born – I wanted to make personalized gifts for her, like baby blankets with her name and little animal designs. That first project turned into a passion, and now I’m hooked!

I really enjoy making home décor items like embroidered pillows, table runners, and holiday decorations. I also love creating personalized gifts for friends and family. There’s just something so special about giving someone a gift that you made with love!

One of my favorite projects was an applique quilt I made for my daughter’s birthday. It took me weeks to finish, but seeing her face light up when she opened it made it all worth it!

I’m looking forward to connecting with everyone here, learning new tips, and sharing ideas. This community feels like the perfect place to be!

Happy stitching to you and everyone here!
    Megan

    Hi Katie and everyone! 😊

My name is Laura, and I’m so happy to be part of this wonderful community! I’ve been passionate about machine embroidery for almost 10 years now, and it’s become such an important part of my life. 🧵💖

I got started with embroidery after retiring from teaching. I wanted a creative outlet, and my daughter gifted me my first embroidery machine. I still remember how excited I was stitching my very first design—it was a simple monogram, but it felt like magic! ✨

These days, I love working on seasonal projects like holiday-themed table runners, kitchen towels, and festive wall hangings. My absolute favorite project has to be the personalized stockings I made for my grandkids last Christmas. Their little faces lit up when they saw their names embroidered—it was such a joy!

I’m looking forward to connecting with all of you, sharing ideas, and learning new techniques. This feels like such a warm and inspiring space, and I can’t wait to see all the amazing projects everyone is working on!

    Happy stitching!
    — Laura
